Does anyone have RPM fluctuations at idle? My '04 will idle at 900 for a few seconds then drop back down to 800 then go back up to 900 again. I believe it's within the normal idle range, but should it be fluctuating like that?

 

Shouldn't be fluctuating. Have you cleaned your IACV? Try that if you haven't.

Ideally you'll need a pentalobe bit to remove the motor and spin the mechanism to alleviate any binding/sticking spots. It's often referred to as cleaning the iacv however the cleanliness of the valve isn't as important as loosening the binding on rotating component.

 

Caution when putting the motor of the IACV back on!
The magnet will pull it into the housing and the resulting jerk might knock the two washers (left and right @ 1:09min) out - I lost one in my engine bay and a had to make a new one
