Induction kit
I`m not sure what is the best, but I like my J`s Racing snorkel with the oem air box. It`s a simple mod that helps the car run very consistently throughout the day and it is less susceptible to heat related bogging issues.
I can`t say much about hp gains as everyone tests intakes with the hood open. Snorkels work well by funneling cold air to the air box. They may not test all that great on dyno`s compared to other intakes but they work well in real world conditions when the hood is closed.
I prefer using the oem air filter which has better filtering abilities than aftermarket cotton or foam filters, and it has a built-in air horn molded into the filter base. I don`t need the extra noise of aftermarket intakes so my setup satisfies everything I want in an intake system. My setup below:

^^ I agree with what JFUSION said. I just got a spoon snorkel and a gutted OEM airbox. Works very well. I also heatwrapped the airbox. This setup definitely helps with heat soak.
If you don't want to stick to the OEM airbox, the Password JDM intake is the best based on a dyno. It is expensive though. Here's a link to the official site; http://passwordjdm.com/PasswordJDM-D...P2406C393.aspx
The official dyno that PWJDM did says it can add 11 hp. This is what I would go with if I ever decided to change my intake.
