Isn't this the same issue a member saw mid last year?

Please do weigh in though, once you have decided you know the situation. We respect your opinion around here, and I have Innovative mounts waiting to go in.

I've got a set on order from CorSport. I will verify what hardware they are sending out nowadays.

Damn this is scary, I Installed my innovative mounts a few months ago. I did not use the oem hardware though(used innovative bolts/washers), I remember hand threading an oem bolt into the right (manifold side) front top hole and it bottomed out rather quick. It was clear that the oem bolt was too long because there was noticeable space between the head of the oem bolt and the washer against the mount. I don't see a problem here unless someone used the oem bolts paired with a lot of force to get them in.

Im going to inspect each mount hole tonight and report back.

Same here. Only I installed my mounts over a year ago with the hardware that came with them.

I do recall doing the same thing with the OEM hardware and finding that it bottomed out far too quickly.

What gets me about this is that the torque spec is only 28lb-ft. If you're busting out your block cranking on these bolts, you're doing it wrong. And by wrong, I mean: You shouldn't be working on cars yourself because you 1) cannot tell when a bolt is bottomed out and 2) you cannot follow torque specs.
