Default Interesting Hiccup....

- The vehicle has new NGK Iradium Plugs which have been great!
- 2 days ago changed Tranny,Diffy, Engine oil. Which made world of a difference especially shifting in the cold...
- MAP Sensor been whacked before and Zip-Tied

2004 AP2 with 80k Miles on it.

Was coming of an off ramp and it's about 20f degrees this morning so the car is pulling REALLY nice. As I am in 4th gear coming around a bend at 3k RPM and hit a str8 I floor it.

S started to Pull really nice even down low as always but I noticed between 4and5k rpm I had a hiccup, like a noticeble power loss where it didn't pull as hard any more. But it did Resume almost instantly around 5k RPM. I've noticed it happen before, but this time it really got me thinking.

HMMM Makes no sense, car has always been maintained and kept in tip top shape even though it has 80k miles and a Daily driver.

when you were coming around the bend and punched it, was it to the right? And how much fuel was in your tank do you remember?

Mmmm, good thinking... That happens on my VW when I'm almost out of gas and floor it hard. Fuel just sloshes away from the feed pipe/pump and I usually get a total fuel cutoff and the engine stops. Have to turn the damn key again while rolling at 60 with the clutch in. lol.
