Why don't you just get under the car and if it doesn't fit, spend the extra 5 minutes and unbolt the motor mount?
Wait till you see the pics and what has to be done to install the Invidia header.

You have to earn this one

i installed my Mugen and it was a BIOTCH to get into the engine bay!

ive seen the design of the Invidia, and it looks like one of the runners comes out way further than the rest, and also further out than any on the Mugen. i would think that to install the Invidia, you'd need to remove a motor mount on the right side and do some fiddling to get it in. because with my Mugen, i had to bend crap out of the way and really FORCE it in, scratching the valve cover in a few places in order to get it in.

good luck

ahh i just saw your post-install pic. yep, you had to remove the valve cover and it looks like you bent that AC line. SUCKS!

Dean is right, it was challenging and fun but, I feel bad about the time it took to install
I spoke to one vender and they had not sold one as of yet I am not going to product bash or discourage anyone from buying this header but, I will let you know that it is not easy to install and only persons with good mechanical experience should attempt it.

It will take two persons to do the job of the actual placing of the header, one below and one atop.

The following things will have to be removed in order to accommodate the room necessary to place the Invidia header.

Valve cover

Wiring going to the oil sending unit

VTEC solenoid

OEM air box, if you have one

Strut tower brace, if you have one

All clips, and fasteners holding the A/C lines in place this is so the A/C lines can be pushed a little out of the way. They can be placed back when finished

All bracket, clips and fasteners holding the heater hoses in place (the hoses them selves do not need to be removed but, will have to be pushed around.

Fuse box fasteners and bracket

Black Heat shield and OEM header

Right side motor mount, the entire mount

Removing the oil filter will make the job a little easier but, it is not 100% necessary

The engine will have to be jacked up a good bit and tilted to the left to get the header to squeeze in to place, and I do meen squeeze

There is no way for this brand (Invidia) header to be placed in from below, the frame of the car is in the way. This header must be installed from up top.

The OEM black heat shield will have to be modified to be reused. The last runner of the header is in the way of replacing it back into the car. The last runner going to the back cylinder is to close to the side of the car.

I have more pics but, have not got them in my gallery yet
This pic shows how close the last runner is to the frame and the reason for the difficult install

This pic shows all that was removed, the cuts in the A/C line insulation were there before we started.

This is a shot from below...Tight
