Is any header worth the trouble / minimal gain they net vs how much you spend let alone who manufactors it? FWIW, all headers are a bitch to install. I've witnessed it first hand twice.
I've installed various headers in nearly every vehicle I've owned over the past thirty-five years, so I'm aware of their limited benefits and how difficult the installation can be. My point was that I would not have purchased this header had I not been given misinformation/disinformation concerning the installation.

A friend of me has this header on his car, he says the car runs smoother in the entire RPM band and it definitly changed the exhaust tone in a GOOD way.

I'm buying his header next month since he's selling his car. I'm looking forward to see the dyno's of this baby....

Update: I got a dyno done yesterday. I don't have a baseline from before the header for comparison, but the numbers with the header installed (with catalytic converter) on my AP2 were 199.5 HP and 137 FtLb. on a Dyno Dynamics. I think it's fair to say that the header provided some additional power, although how much is unknown.

Sounds like your gains were minimal at best given the majority of ap2's are dynoing that if not higher stock. Wish you had baseline numbers. It sure looks pretty though

Hy,
I read this tread with much interest.
I have this header in my S2k AP1.
In all left turns, the header is scratch on the body...
Now, I install a shock absorber, but the problem is not better

regards
thomas

so you are having rubbing issues with the header on the body? I am no suprised. I would buy a PLM header off ebay ($380 shipped) and swap it out. Better fit and more HP, and no rubbing.
