Invidia header install With pics and info
I already had the cat back dual Invidia and test pipe installed. Just got the Invidia header this past Monday and started the install last night. Talk about PITA...I can not get it go down far enough to get it on the bolts that it attaches to and now can't get it back out. WTF...how did you get it installed?
I need some help as I now have the car on jack stands, oil drained, and coolant all over the place.

Hey guys I know this is an old thread however I thought I would bring it back from the dead. I have a an Ap2 with full cat back and this invidia long tube header. I installed it my self twice. The first time I did it with jack stands on my driveway. It literally took all day long and it was a COMPLETE bitch to get it in because of clearance issues. I then received a ticket for it because I was being an idiot, I then had to remove it to pass the smog test. As soon as I got back home I went to go install it again. This time I used a car lift. It was 100x's easier than sliding it in from the top. However, now that it is back in every single time I take a turn to the left it rubs against the firewall and makes a vibration noise. The only reason I bought this header was the sound. It sounds amazing when it is not hitting the firewall. I figured I would share my experiences. Be aware of this header!!

I can give you a few impressions from the ride home last night. The exhaust tone has changed a bit (for the better IMO), the car seems to idle a little smoother, and I have not noticed any of the header related exhaust noises that some folks complain about with other headers. The car also seems to have just a tad more "oomph" down low, but that could be purely my imagination. I haven't checked out the top end yet.
I wish I could say that I now have a hundred more HP, get a hundred MPG, and that the header has completely reversed my male pattern baldness and made me look thirty years younger, but alas...
