For those of you that might think that for a car this expensive, we shouldn't have to put up with this type of finessing of the gearbox, I suggest you try driving a Ferrari ;-)

The gears are always going to be more difficult to get into gear when the transmission internals are at rest.

yeah, let the car warm up sufficiently and a slight tap on the throttle always helps.

With reverse, I just let out the clutch slowly while putting pressure on the stick. Just slides right in.

It will work with any gear probably.
