Default Lake in my trunk

So this will be the second time ive had to figure out this problem. the first time i my trunk was leaking was due to the fact that the jack ass who owned the car before me drilled multiple holes through the trunk and rear fender well. water would always get in there when it raind. so i found all the holes, patched them, been dry for some time now. but recently all the rain were getting in the mid west has found its way into my damn trunk. any one know wear its coming from?

Get in the trunk with a flash light and have a friend spray down the car.

Assuming the trunk lid isn't tweaked, it could possibly be that your gaskets are simply dried out and need some lubricant on them, see Shin-Etsu grease. Also check the drain holes to make sure they are not plugged.
