loose sparkplug
A piece of duct tape is easy, handy and not nearly as expensive as a locking set of tools.
Also use anti-seize to help achieve the proper torque.
FYI, when this spark plug recall initially came about, dealer techs didn't have a clue about the new torque setting that went from the old 13 lb/ft to the new 18 lb/ft. In fact, the ones I checked didn't even torque them. Of the 3 cars I was asked to check right after the job was done at the dealer, ALL of the cars had torques ranging from less than 13 lb/ft to a wopping 42 lb/ft (in the same car). One even had an oil change done and the tech forgot to put the oil cap back on. You gotta check everything these guys do ASAP.

Car should be done this Mon. American Honda will NOT pay labor. Since car had sparkplug recall/update done, and still loosened up ,destroying engine I felt that I shouldn't have to pay anything. Car will be for sale next month, hopefully before this happens again. Since this has happened to many others, any lawers out there see any basis for a class-action lawsuit? I can't believe that Honda made a design error and won't do the right thing. So once again RETORQUE YOUR SPARKPLUGS!!
