Model 200T - 2 Ton Speed Jack
"Low Rider" Low Profile Floor Jack
and dont forget: JACKSTANDS
http://www.asedeals.com/jackstands.html
Model RJS-3T 3 Ton Capacity Heavy-Duty Jack Stand
Stock S2000: no problem with jacking the car up. The jack is HEAVY DUTY weighs almost 100 lbs, the pictures dont do it justice the saddle is rubber and nice for those that use the rear diff as a jackpoint, i would still recommend using a shop towel of some sort. The jack is serviceable and the service shop is in San Diego I think which is a huge plus for me, as i live in socal. The Jack "arm bar thingy" is extra long so you hardly work at all to get it up (thats what she said). the only problem is that it does take a few extra pumps to get it going (are you serious? see above ^), but once you get it about 1/4 of the way it just takes off, some other jacks like the RANGER i believe have a quick foot pedal to assist you. The AC hydraulic is the premier automotive car jack but will set you back some serious money almost double what the AFF set me back. I dont live by my jack but i do dabble in weekend tinkering, the AFF is the perfect tool for the job. After my last "Cosco" jack lost compression about halfway up and caused the jack stand to puncture a hole into my car I decided to buy a quality jack. save yourself the trouble and do the same.

I do that, and it worked great when I had my Prelude (FWD pulled the car up onto the wood), but doesn't work so well with the S2000, as it just pushes the blocks along the ground (particularly on my smooth garage floor). I need to put some rubber/grippy pads on the back of the boards to make them stick to the ground better.
So I double check while removing my front bumper and working on the s2.
My jack at lowest is a little under 3". So like most of the other low pro ones people have showed. had it for years and still strong!

The jack I got at Costco is made by Arcan; 2 ton aluminum, model ALJ2T. About $115.

OK, for the cdn's.
Im pretty sure Princess Auto is nation wide.
It retails for $150 at Princess Auto, Its blue and silver aluminum, 2 ton, Ive owned at least 3 lowpro jacks b4 and this one is by far the best. It also goes on sale for $100 often.
I also love it due to the fact, rather then having 2 small front wheels, it has one long solid one that makes it MUCH more sturdy!

Thanks for the info!
Does it have a quick lift mechanism? I spent $24 at Canadian tire for my 2 ton but it's not low profile. When I put the side skirts on I don't think it's going to fit without rolling up on blocks.
I'd be willing to bet there are only one or two foreign companies making all these lightweight aluminum jacks for everyone else. They all have a similar design and operating range. Even my Craftsman looks like the ones I posted above.

^ The ultra low one is only 1/4 lower than the others.
The harborfreight jacks are nice. I'm not sure what the OP was originally looking for but a 3 1/4" inch saddle height won't fit under my lowered car, even on the jacking points.
