Low speed turns causing rear banging/clicking
Hi all -
I'm a new S2K owner and I absolutely love the car so far. It has 80XXX miles on it and an aftermarket clutch, comptech sway bars, and is lowered on springs.
On my way home with the car I noticed that after it had warmed up, when going through slow turns I would hear this awful grinding/banging/clicking/snapping noise coming from the rear.
It seems to happen when turning in either direction and is far worse when turning from a stop. I'm wondering if the CV joints could be the culprit. I also suspected it could be the diff but my reading seems to indicate otherwise. I want to change the diff and trans fluid but don't currently have the space or equipment to do that.
After doing some research, I've found that this video of a CV issue sounds similar to my car, but what I hear is a much more rapid and loud sound:

I'm located in north jersey and have left word with Billman but don't know when he'll be able to see me. I'm itching to get this remedied, can anyone recommend a local shop that does good work with S2K's or should I just take it to a dealer?
Thanks for your help!

Wait and go to Billman. He is the ONLY person you want to go see.
