Wes,
Perhaps I am sending the wrong message here. I wouldnt do something to my car that would just harm it, such as leaning it out dangerously... I would like for someone to bear evidence that lowering the vcont down to 5400 is dangerous?
My car is running running great on this setting.

it made 138... it's peak was around 6500 i think.. My friend is scanning the dyno sheets so I dont have them in front of me. I'll email them to you if you want when I get them.
What's really interesting is that each pull I made, we lowered the vtec point more and each time, the powerband shifted up more and more.
I started out at 5900 making 203, and at the 7th pull we were making 211.9 with the vtec sitting on 5400.. The vtec jump on the graph doesnt hit until more like 6300 though. When you drive the car, you can really feel the vtec kick in. Mostly I would say that having it set to 5400 makes the car perform much better over 6000.. I would also say that below that I have noticed no difference.
