Default Maintenance

Hey everyone. I am getting ready to do some maintenance things on my s2k. I went ahead and ordered this stuff, am I missing anything that you guys think I should add? I bought this stuff at HandAaccessories.com

So far I ordered:

1 Oil Drain Plug Washer

1 Factory Oil Filter

1 Transmission Drain & Fill Washers

2 Quarts of Honda Transmission Fluid

1 Differential Drain & Fill Washers.

I will get the oil and differential fluid locally. Is there anything else I should consider doing or looking at while doing all this? Thanks!

Just did all my fluids in the last couple weeks myself, I can't think of anything beyond what's on your list there.

Alright sweet. I just bled my brakes and clutch a couple weeks ago, so that should all be fine too.

Well the car has 90k, but I have a shortblock in it that has 70k on it now with a rebuilt head.

you should have a pcv valve that isn't much older than 2-3 years, if you are unsure about it I'd consider changing it. You might want to consider new spark plugs unless your's are newer than what the mileage is on the engine.

On my 02 I did all that plus a coolant change. I cleaned the IAC valve, throttle body, and MAP sensor, and put on a new accessory belt (Gatorback).

Consider an air filter change and passenger cabin air filter change depending on the mileage of your current parts. Check your accessory belt to see if the indicator is within the maintenance box, replace it if the indicator is at the end of the maintenance box.

Alright thanks for the advice. I put new spark plugs in about 5k miles ago. Did a valve adjustment, cleaned the throttle body and MAP sensor. I havent cleaned the IAC valve yet though. I also have a K&N drop in filter than I just cleaned probably a month ago. I might look into getting a new cabin filter though also, I havent even looked at it since I got the car. Belts all look fine, and the coolant was flushed when we did the swap with the shortblock.

So ill check into cleaning the IAC valve, and getting a new cabin filter.

I did my cabin air filter recently as well, wish I had taken a picture... the old one was filthy as hell, never replaced in 50k miles.
