Today I had the first scare in my S. I'm driving about 70 a lady pulls out in front of me, I had to cut it real sharp and spun out to the other side of the road.

Aside from my tires being slightly flat spotted I now noticed my maintenance light is blinking each time I start the car. I don't get it? How do you reset this light and what's it trying to tell me?

2003 80k on odo

Changed oil 1k miles ago.

 

Hold the trip button on the right side of the gauge cluster(I think that's the right one), turn the key to the on position, and release the button once the light is off. It goes on every few 1k miles.

As always coincidental != causal.

If that's the case then you forgot to reset the light.

 

The light starts to flash at 5k AFTER A RESET. Then the light stays solid at 8k AFTER A RESET
