Hey fellow owners. In the past week, I have noticed that at start up, my S2K's maintenance light blinks several times. Is this normal? I have a 2000 with around 6500 miles. I also notice the buzzing sound at decelaration that everyone is talking about in which I am going to have it serviced. Please advise.

 

That blinking light is just a "pre-warning" that you are reaching what Honda considers time to change your oil. Soon, it will be solid. Your owner's manual would have told you this along with how to reset the light.

 

What XV said is dead on. Time for the 7.5 K service.........
