Hey, i am in the middle of changing my transmission fluid. i accidentally knocked over the bottle and i guess i lost more than i thought because after emptying both quarts of Honda MTF that i bought i still couldnt even feel the oil level in the transmission. My question is: can i use some engine oil (i have mobil 1 in the garage) for the last little bit or is that stupid and i just need to spend the hour round trip to go for more honda mtf? thanks

 

The manual says you can use 10W30 engine oil in a pinch, but change it out as soon as you can. Your call, but I'd just go get some more Honda MTF.
