Thumbs up Mugen Thermostat Install?

Do you have to drain the coolant? I know coolant will leak out of the thermostat, but, if I don't drain it will the coolant flow stop or keep going? What coolant is good for our cars?

Yes some coolant will leak out, just get a bottle from your Honda dealership and replace whatever is lost.

I'm also wondering about this, I'm going with a Spoon thermostat though I'd heard Mugen is better for NA applications. Heard it's a pita to install the thermostat as well, guess I'll find out when I replace mine.

Btw, good to see you here again S2kracka . Any new mods?

There was a good thread a long time ago.
Had pics and and steps on how to install it.
To get a good look at the thermostat, jack the car up, lie down with your legs at the front bumper and with you head well behind the rim.
You will be looking at it from an angle but it will be a clear shot. This make it super easy to remove and install.
Use a 3inch extension as well.
I hope it makes sense, if I come across the thread I will post it here.
And yes, drain the coolant first.
