My keyless entry doesnt beep
So when i got my car in november(with the factory alarm/keyless system), i could hit the lock button and the horn would chirp and i think it also chirped when i unlocked it.
I had some problems with the batteries and switching remotes ( the dealer gave me two). So maybe theres a button combo that turns off the chirp??? and i accidently did it during the frustration of my remote not working?
Also i have a brand new battery in my remote yet i can only lock and unlock the doors from a few feet away...
can anyone help???

Edit: i searched and found the answer to the chirp in a matter of seconds...
but still, the distance thing kills me, by the time i get close enough for my door to unlock, my passenger has to wait for me to hit the button again and unlock their door...its kind of annoying
