I opened my radio door today. When it was opening i pushed it down by mistake instead of letting it open on it's own. Now when i open it it doesnt open slowly any more. The gear isnt stripped. It's like the sping came off. How do i take it apart to fix it?

well, the spring most likely lost its holding. i changed out my radio door on my old ap1 to the 06 door, and my experience wasnt too fun. to get the door and assembly off, you just have to pull at it(towards the shifter), and it will pop out. once you get it off, you should find the spring not in the right spot. its pretty self explanitorary from there. you might want to search the forums and see if there are any pictures of this job, i'm sure they are here. good luck!
