Need Help Please!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am painting my calipers as we speak i got the two front done and i got all 5 lugs off one of the rears and i got three off the other. two lugs will not move at all. i have an impact wrench and they still won't come off. i tried by hand also. if there any other way i can loosen these things please help.
Have you tried just a regular socket with a non-rachetting handle and a long pipe on the handle? Car on the ground, wheels chocked.
If they are on that tight you risk breaking the studs, so what have you got to lose? Reverse the impact wrench and run it for a few seconds (ie. drive them tighter). Then try to remove them again. Repeat if necessary.
How'd they get that tight?

well thankfully they came off. i just used the oem wrench. it worked but with a lot of force. i just had new rear tires put on and the people who did them said they tourqed them to the right specs but i guess not. it was kinda weird cause all the other ones came of with no problem but just these two would no move. what would making them tighter and then loosing them again do? thanks for the quick reply

xviper - regarding the torque stick - its a great tool, or rather was when it came out. Discount Tire implimented it in all of their shops for the longest time. However, they have since gone back to the torque wrenches in the past few years because of the lifespan of the sticks. Apparently after a period of time in using them, they aren't within range.
