I have the same sound on mine. I think it's the ABS getting "pumped". But yeah it sounds like a clamp and happens just once after a cold start when you get moving. I think it's vacuum driven which makes sense for the ABS.

I think it's vacuum driven which makes sense for the ABS.
The Brake Booster needs / uses vacuum to create more force (pressure) in the brake lines, the ABS pump doesn't, it uses an electrical pump.

In my service manual they mention the the ABS pump is checked the first time the engine is started after the ignition switch is turned on (II) and that you may hear the pump operating and its normal. They don't specify how long the test takes and they don't mention the car has to move first.

It is also mentioned that the ABS pump operates when ABS is functioning.
IMO that means that if you are not braking the pump doesn't run, it only runs when needed IOW when the reduced brake fluid pressure has to be build-up again.

lol.. I had a clicking sound too on MY06.. turns out it was a sticker on the side of the engine that has the pulleys that partially peeled off. It was fluttering nxt to the pulleys. After I peeled the sticker off, no more clicking . I'm guessing the dealer forgot to peel off the sticker as part of the delivery procedure when I purchased my car.
Ha, i had the same problem! But eventually mine got so bad and make a nasty scraping sound from it i was about to take it to the dealer, but i looked for myself and found that i had the same problem except my sticker was constantly rubbing against the pulley.
