New accessory belt is damaged

The oem belt will outlast any belt made.
The oem belt has that angled seam with stitching as well. Never once have I found any wear or damage to the stitching.

OEM belt fits the best too. The aftermarket belts are too tight or too loose, this incorrect size puts stress on the pulley bearings of the A/C, the idler and tensioner pulley. If you get an aftermarket belt you'll need an aftermarket tensioner pulley as they are also a different dimension to the OEM one.
