Default new engine

Im about to put a different motor in my car. I wanted to know if I should use my ecu thats already in there or the ecu that I got with the motor? From what I hear, the cars are tuned each to there own. So witch one should I use? Also will my key work with the other ecu?

Use the original ecu in the car.
