new intake = new problem
hey guys,
i just installed a k&n 63-3514 on my 06 s2k. i followed all the directions and have done many installations like this before. but now my malfunction light is on. there are no hoses to screw up since the 06's dont have the air injecting pump, which im pretty sure means no air control valve vacuum and air control solenoid vacuum. is there anything i could have screwed up. i drilled the hole correctly for the air temp sensor. any suggestions????
thanx a lot,
slesh

You mean your Check Engine Light is on? (its a little light shaped like an engine). If so, go to pep boys, autozone, etc and they will hook up a scanner and pull the code for you for free. Then you can determine what the problem is.
i went to autozone and they plugged into my car. it said the apc aipc something like that was too high. but i reset my battery and the malfunction light went away. my car seems like its running fine.
