Default p0411 engine code

I searched on your guys forum and found other topics that had similar code issues but mine seems a bit different so i was seeing if you guys could help me out.

My s2k is throwing a p0411 code which came after i replaced the AIR IDLE CONTROL VALVE. The car runs fine but the only issue is that after the car warms up it starts idling real low almost to the point of stalling out. Now, it does not completely stall out it just start shaking and then jumps back up a little.

I already checked all the hoses and they seem to be fine. Don't know what else to do except check the air pump but i doubt that is the source of the problem.

A little information on my car to help you guys is that i have a K&N fipk intake, and the motor has recently been rebuilt. I'm still under 500 miles on the new motor and am still breaking it in. Like i said previously the air idle control valve was recently replaced shortly afterwards was when the engine code was thrown so im pretty sure that is the source of the problem. Any ideas guys?

Why was the IAC valve replaced?
P0411 is for Air Control Valve improper flow.
TSB 06-055 refers to the air pump relay overheating and causing various air injection codes.
Is it just irony that the Idle Air Control Valve was replaced and then a Air Control Valve problem arose?

The valve is installed backwards most likely. Happens all the time with CAI installs.

The hoses may be routed correctly but if the check valve is checking the wrong way, your going to get the P0411 code.

Turn it around, reset it and see if that solves the problem. There are also pictures specifically showing the correct direction on the forum.

Also try the Comptech SC installation instructions which shows the valve and the vaccum hose directions.
