Default newbie Q:can i put different coolant in radiator?

just had a 30k service a week ago and there is no coolant in radiator reservoir. they probably did not start it up and fill it as needed. anyways i work through out the whole week and can't get radiator fluid. Can i use SHUCKS fluid instead?

I would say the short answer is NO. They should have put Honda type2 Blue Coolant in your car. I would not mix this with other coolants. If it were me, I might consider adding purified water until you can make to the dealer. If I had to add more than a little water I would mention it to the service manager. They at least owe you a jug coolant so you can finish the job they did improperly. Maybe they should even do it again correctly. Again I would think purfied water or distilled water would be a better temporary fix then mixing coolants.
