I can't wait to hear how the install goes. The local Import shop wants $900 for the install including tuning (+at least 1 hour dyno time @60/hour). So by you being handy you are saving a ton!! Don't forget the plugs! I will be looking for your posts. Phil

Spapdx- I downloaded the install instructions (40pgs) from superchargersonline.com. Sounds from your list that you have too.

Thanks so much for the info, guys..I just ordered mine as well and though I will be doing the install myself, I am lucky enough to have a Honda Tech at my disposal if I get in a bind.

I was told there may be a better way to handle the oil return line. I was told Vortech's line is not braided stainless? I was also told it would be a good idea to drop the oil pan and have a "bung" welded instead of tapping into the pan.

Lastly, is a clutch replacement really needed on a car with 3000 miles?

I am one that has a bad habit of making big jobs bigger and more involved to "do it right" but need advise from those who have been there before me.

Have you found a ready to go braided line for the oil return? The pan has to be dropped to install the NPT fitting, but your idea of a "bung" sounds better. by this, I am assuming you would heliarc weld the fitting in??? Do you think these mods to the kit are necessary on what I think is a low pressure oil return line? Please enlighten me as when the day comes for my install, I want it to be the absolute best job that can be done. I only have 2500 miles on mine and I am told the huge power increase will cause clutch slip problems under hard loads but I am going to wait and burn my stock clutch some before spending more$$$. I feel I won't get max. performance until I move to the ACT stage 1 or 2. S/C friends of mine say the clutch makes a big difference after you get rid of the stock one. Please S/C Guys...What do you think??? Phil

I am going to install a S/C on mine, and I am planning to go drag race on weekends that is why I am gonna install the S/C. Do I need a reprogrammed computer or chip after the installing the S/C, and how safe is it to racing with S/C and not blowing up the engine or other things? Thank you very much.

The vortech kit comes with the computer mods needed for the kit. I really think that the "extra" mods stated above are not necessary. If they were, vortech would tell us that. It is a low pressure oil return line. Clutch is an issue...I will not have the funds for a clutch swap for a little bit, so I better be nice to my S/C s for a while

Phil- yes we are sick
