No gear will lock anymore...
Hi...
today is a shitty day!
i was driving in the city with my newly installed ACT clutch and flywheel. i have around 500miles with that clutch. anyway .. i changed first.. then second and i did a miss shift (it squeetched a little, but it locked the gear)
After that i tried 3rd and nothing. Then no GEAR locked!
symptoms:
- With the motor off 1st 3rd and 4th lock
- if i start the engine after i get in gear, it stalls
- Clutch is still hard, but however i push it it wont let me get in gear
My questions are:
1. what could it bee
2. could the guys who mounted the clutch be responsible for whatever happened?
Thanks a lot!

described the issue again... since i posted on a different site as well
i need some advice from you car tech freaks... since imo this should not happen.
Bought a new clutch since the old one was burned out.
I bought a ACT 6 Puck heavy duty clutch with flywheel and all.
after ~500 miles i was driving in the city and i reversed, and then @5k rpm spun the wheels in first gear, changed second (miss shifted), but eventually it connected, and when i tried to change to 3rd, all the gears went dead, and i could not change into any other gear.
Today the car was opened up and the flywheel was glued to the pressure plate. :-/
so basically how on earth can the flywheel get to ~2000 degrees and stick like ****ing super glue?! Even if i spun the wheels, i released the clutch fully so the flywheel was not heating up due to friction?
Has anyone seen this kinda clutch bonding?!

I think it may be your shifter....when you shift, there's this lever....a nut is used for that lever to be tightened...if that's loose...your shifting could be "loose" and tho your shifter might move, you aren't putting it into any gears b/c the nut is too loose..
Does your shifting feel "loose"?
