Default Clutch clunk

I recently had my gearbox rebuilt due to a failed second gear synchro

Ever since I put the recon box back in I get a clunk in reverse

Basically I will clutch (no clunk) engage reverse gear fine, start to move off fine and when I re clutch I get a clunk

I can feel it through the clutch and it noticeably also moves the gear stick?

Is this a problem internally with the reassembled box?

I also considered engine mounts but I don't seem to get the clunk in first gear. The gear stick does however move when taking off in first gear so next on the list to be inspected is definetly engine mounts. Could this all be related?

It's not the diff as I replaced that first and it didn't solve the problem....it's also not the gearbox mounts cause I replaced those too.

Thanks in advance for any light anyone can shed on this.

Thanks

Dillon

1st thought is hydraulics. Was the clutch line bled, and if so bled properly?

No definetly not normal - was fine up to now.

Not sure on the bleeding part - ill double check! Is that something that should be done when swapping out a gearbox?

Mine does that sometimes when I'm stopped and in neutral, push in the clutch and I hear a clunk. Thought it was normal haha. Been doing that ever since I got it 3 years ago.

Could bad engine and gearbox mounts cause this?
