No that is not it, it's is even more quiet, and even more of a buzz than a rattle.
Once again passenger side, sounds like it could be coming from headrest height but you never know.

Can a moderator please clean up this thread and delete all the BS posts that don't add any constructive advice for people looking to get rid of rattles and not just mask them?

Guys anyone knows about rattle at 3300rpm-4000rpm?

I run with js racing 70rr

When acceleration and deacceleration

It sounds like slice of metal hitting something

I thought my exhaust hitting something but there was no hitting point though..

I have bad clutch and blown motor mount now..

it could be reason of that?

And the other noise is kinda squeak or like metal rubbing with metal when I run over the bump or potholes..

please help me up guys

If the car is moving, it's buzzing about 90% of the time
Try banging on your seatbelt retractor through your trunk. That's exactly what mine was doing and ended up being that.

I'm a new S2000 owner, and I'm getting a noise that sounds like it is coming from within the drivers side front fender. Any time the car is moving, thee is a noise when the wheels are turned. It sounds like a couple of nuts hanging from a string banging against the inside of the fender when the car turns. There is no noise when the car is stationary, and I can't seem to recreate the noise when the car is on jackstands. It seems like it would be a suspension or steering rack problem, but I thought I would be able to find some looseness while it is on the jackstands.

ETA: One of my kids and I decided we were going to find the rattle after I posted yesterday. We first put the car up on stands and looked over the suspension and steering components. Nothing was loose or damaged. Then I drove slowly and had the kid walk alongside the car while I recreated the noise. He decided it was coming from in front of the wheel.

The plan was to take the front bumper cover and fender off, but the kid worked with a flashlight for a few minutes and found an Easco 3/8" socket extension rolling around inside the fender area right next to the coolant reservoir! I've never owned any Easco tools, so this came with the car. Too bad I didn't notice the noise before I bought the car - maybe I could have negotiated down the price some more.

Hello fellow S2000 owners my car has developed a strange noise coming from the left rear wheel. This is the video of the noise https://youtu.be/Q3OX_Xm-zP0 Any idea what it might be? When you hear the creek I can feel a vibration when I put my hand on the brake heat shield and on the wheel but there is no vibration from the rotor or caliper. Could it be a bearing? Loose axle bolts? Please help I'm sure someone else has experienced the same noise...
Cheers

Hoping for some advice with this noise. https://youtu.be/Z3lWquBkdqs I have had the timing chain tensioner changed about 5000miles ago I don't remember that noise tapping so loudly. I hope it's not thata again my other thought is tappet/valves need adjusting. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
Cheers

If you replaced the TCT with an OEM one and/or are using Mobil1 synthetic or Royal Purple, it is possible that it's the TCT again, but it could also be the valves needing an adjustment.

Sounds like the TCT. I would remove and inspect it. pretty easy to do so.
