Official Found a Rattle Thread
I havnt got either of those in I've got Triple QX. I'm going to get both done as I don't think the valves have been checked and I'm approaching 65000miles. Hopefully the part Is still under warrenty as it hasn't been long

Hoping for some advice with this noise. https://youtu.be/Z3lWquBkdqs I have had the timing chain tensioner changed about 5000miles ago I don't remember that noise tapping so loudly. I hope it's not thata again my other thought is tappet/valves need adjusting. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
Cheers

I've read through the posts and didn't nose this problem.
I have a really bad buzzing sound coming from under the hood when I down shit and the RPMs drop enough to lug the engine. Once the RPMs get up the sound goes away.
If I down shift and accelerate the noise goes away. The buzzing will stop once the RPMs are up.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I drive an ap1 with 114k miles on it and its making a weird ticking/clicking noise same boat as Mboothe.
Description:
On a cold start up it doesn't make the clicking/ticking noise but when the car is warmed up you can hear it when its parked in neutral. When i'm parked in neutral and rev the gas the clicking/ticking goes away but when i let go of the gas the noise comes back. Also when i'm driving on the freeway at about 60mph you dont hear at as you accelerate. But when you let go of the gas you can hear the clicking/ticking noise again.
IDK if this is normal for ap1s but i've searched around and people say its normal. I've already done a GEN X billman TCT swap so idk where the noise could be coming from. No CELs either. car is bone stock btw.
If someone could shine some light on this issue that would be awesome.
Thanks fellow S2ki'ers
Did you ever find a solution Mboothe

Hello, found a rattle thread, I have this annoying almost metallic rattling when my engine hits 4-5k then it stops or at least I think it does but the engine could just be getting too loud. so I'm assuming it's hitting something in just the right way. It sounds like it's coming from the front of the car. Any suggestions would be great.
I have a rattle in my drivers side door panel that sounds like something plastic hitting inside, ive taken the door panel apart at least a dozen times and still haven't resolved it lol happens over bumps and with any heavy bass song.
Behind me on both the passenger and drivers side, i get a sharp screech vibration sound over bad roads or upon deceleration from 4k, it was there with my soft top and is still there now with my hardtop lol
I wish i could make them stop because i find myself trying to hear where its coming from every time i drive my car

I'm getting a rattle from the front left of the car. Sounds like a high speed tapping coming from the left side of the engine compartment. Only happens on high RPM decels.
I popped the hood and banged and shook everything up top and couldn't see anything that would be causing it.
Plan on getting under the car this Thursday to check everything out but if anyone has a had something similar please let me know.

It sounds like if you were to take a steel coupler/ring, put it around a pipe, and then just shake the pipe around. It's a very "light" rattle that sounds like whatever it is is already completely loose.
Only happens under load, not when revving at idle, and only within a certain RPM range (somewhere around 3K).
If I can't find the source in the next few days I may try to get a video of it. Not sure how audible it will be on film.

Just realized yesterday that when I slightly press the clutch pedal in when the rattle is happening, it stops.
Going to check the clutch master bolts/adjustment and see if that fixes the issue!
Is this a bad clutch master? Looks like it might be leaking.

UPDATE 7/6:
Replaced the Clutch Master and the rattle is gone. To my surprise, my previous "clutch buzz" is also gone.
Clutch feels nice and tight and the car is quieter.
