Oil consumption?

I have driven around 360 miles, and i have used one X on the dipstick is that accpetable? Filling 10W30.

Depends on how you drive. That doesn't sound bad at all though, especially if you've spent a lot of time in VTEC..

Not bad. I burn about a quart per 1k miles. Mobil 1 10w-30. Its getting expensive, I pretty much pay for two oil changes throughout the life of the oil

Mobil 1 has the worst cook off/evaporative proprieties in our motor. Switch to something else like castrol and I will bet your consumption will drop in half.

If I get a new pcv value what kind of change would be expected ...my car burns abt 2 quarts every 3k

I'm so glad my '06 doesn't burn any oil. I'll go 7500 to 8000 miles and only be down 1 X from full on the dip stick and I use Mobil 1(3 qts 0W-20 AFE & 3 qts. 0W-50 racing oil). Been doing this for about 50k miles now.

No I put 6 qts in, it all depends on how large or small your oil filter is. I use a large Baldwin filter so I have to add more oil to fill it up.
