OMG THE NOISE is BACK!

I'm pretty sure the noise is normal when the ring and pinion in the diff is not "loaded" (i.e. cruising at the right amount of throttle).
I just changed diff fluid yesterday and can still reproduce that sound. I'm working on my brakes this morning and will have a test drive afterwards. I can show you that sound in my car. Let me know if you want to go for a ride.

if i can get my dealer to change a new differential, will the niose be there again?

imn pretty sure i have the same thing, light throttle cruising at 3.5-5k rpms in any gear its almost like a gargling or rumbling. it goes away when i give it more gas. ive had this for over 20k miles. I got the car with 25k on it. Diff fluid changes have shown nothing out of the ordinary. Ive just accpeted it it. If the tranny grenades, its upgrade time
by the way, it does not fix the noise at all by replacing 3 of the bolt from cat to exhaust...
so its very gay and weird.. however i test drove the 2004 and 2005.. they dont have this issue...

I have this same noise at ~3,000rpm except when "floating the throttle" as you described and to me sounded like an exhaust related sound. Just a certain speed gives the tone needed to create this sound. Maybe mines different. Nvidia exhaust (not loose) Maybe its the diff/clutch/idk I do know that ive driven the car and not heard it AT ALL...and other times its particularly loud...Operating temp perhaps?
pulled out the tranny today by the dealer and photo some pics
i saw alots alots of rush spot
i will post pics today and hopefully you guys can see how is the condition of my tranny and bearing...
not sure this will related to the noise issue...
