Default omnipower master cylinder

hello

so i installed this beast with some rather disconcerting results as it's now reasonably difficult to get it into gear when cold or stopped.. is this normal or is there some sort of adjustment that needs to be done? keep in mind, i bled the system properly, nothing's leaking, and the reservoir is topped off.

it's the quickclutch master cylinder btw

My experience with this part has been horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone.

You probably need more pedal throw. it should be adjusted so there is a small amount of free play on the pedal before it starts to push on the rod for the cmc.

i know its not really relevant to this car but.... i had one on my 06 civic si. Pedal throw was so hard it cracked my fire wall and was about to push through. Needless to say everyone uses the cmc from the em1 now.

lol holy crap. so, i didnt adjust the free play because it didnt seem like it would help as the problem was with forward motion of the arm into the cylinder, however, i did remove the bumper on the firewall that stopped the pedal arm from actually making contact with the firewall. now it shifts properly.
