Please Help
I have a 01' s2000 and I just recently took it to get the clutched replaced (OEM EXEDY full kit) and I noticed right away when I got it back that the clutch was very very light, like their was no resistance. So I read up on the OEM EXEDY and that's how it's supposed to feel. But now the second day comes and I noticed my clutch pedal got a little more resistance and soon became rough/sticky. So I went ahead and changed the slave and master cylinder as well as the soft line and bled the system. The clutch pedal remained the same!!! What is it??? It feels really sticky and rough when I press the clutch pedal.
It was at my price range $300 and came with pilot/throw out bearings. I really don't mind the clutch. I'm just having an issue with the clutch pedal feeling really hard to press now and also feels sticky at the end when releasing the pedal
I am sorry to say you are going to regret going with exedy. Plenty of stories here about poor quality and having to replace soon after install. In particular throwout bearing is junk. Clutch itself not very good either.
They sucker a lot of people by using OEM in the name of their clutch. People think its what Honda uses. Its not.
When you replace it, which you soon will, go with Honda parts.
