po411 question
hey yall. i know this topic has been discussed before and i have done a bit of research but still have a question. so i did the clutch on my car earlier today which required removing the air box. my buddy took the air flow tube (tube that air filter goes into and connects to the intake) off i noticed quite a large tear on the tube where it clamps down the intake mani. i think he may have tried yanking it off with out loosening the worm clamp but i didnt see thus resulting in a tear. we electrical taped it for now but my question is would this tear be the cause of my p0411 code? ive checked vaccum lines and everything seems to be where it should which leads me to believe the tear in the tube is what is causing the code. if anyone could chime in thatd be cool. thanksz
In my textbook, DTC P0441 appears to be evaporative emission control system insufficient purge flow.
