Car hasn't been in an accident, and the noise only started after the new axles were installed along with the R200 differential, OEM ones won't fit anymore because the new diff is wider than the S2k one, I got another set of axles and still makes the same sound

Once you start to hear that noise, its is definitely a sign of the rear axle nut. Im over zealous with these things and would just replace the bearing and hub while at it... last time I had the noise, I pulled the bearing and hub, the hub was worn to shit and the bearing was on its way out.

I thought wheel bearing noise would only appear whilst turning? Or have I heard wrong? It hasn't happened whilst turning unless I go over a bump at the same time or while reversing off my driveway onto the road as it leaves the kerb I will hear a pop sometimesoon 2.
getting a mechanic to look at it tomorrow see if I can finally kill the problem.

Hold the wheel at 12 and 3 and see if there's play

No play at all. Didn't think you could do it that way to check bearings on the car?
Or was I looking for something else? Either way no sound

Meant 12 and 6, not sure what I was thinking, (tie rods / rack is 9 and 3)
