Possible Loose Flywheel
I've been having trouble with a loud grinding coming from the clutch lately. At first I thought it was the supercharger, so I had that checked out. Unfortunately, after I put the car back together the problem is still there and even more noticeable.
Anyway, I took it to Honda and the lead mechanic believes it to be a loose flywheel. He's pulling the tranny today and should have a definite answer tomorrow. I had the clutch replaced earlier this year at an import shop. I don't want to talk to them until I find out exactly what is going on. However, my question is this:
Is it pretty safe to assume that if the flywheel is loose it was caused by not properly torqueing the bolts? I don't drive too hard; I've only dropped the clutch 2-3 times and only at 3-4 grand...and the wheels have broken loose each time.
Thanks.

i wouldn't say it is that shops fault unless they also swapped in another flywheel, or had it resurfaced. then you could blame them. i would still wait, and wouldn't go barking up any trees until you know for sure too.
