I have stored my '90 CRX-Si every winter (5+ months) since 1992, I have stored my S2000 every winter since 2002, I have never done anything more than an alil and filter change before storage and then once storage is over insert key, turn to on, push the start button.

 

That's the truth!

 

Just add a little oil in the engine before you start it if you want to be on the safe side.

Anything more is overcaring.
