Ques. for UL or another well educated person to give a technical answer
The question is...............If I were to do a SINGLE mod aside from say a TB and maybe a snorkel intake. What would be better for getting low/mid range torque giving more drive ability and power Mugen Headers or Toda Cams?
I am very currious. I know both would be amazing but I really can only thinking of doing one right now.

For low to mid range I'd say the Mugen headers. Hams2000 can tell you more about his cam experience, but it seems they primarily help on the top end. Also, the headers are a bit simpler to install (not easier) mainly because you're supposed to replace the exhaust valve springs with the Toda cams.

Guess I will have to PM Hams. I love the headers but for some reason heard the cams helped with the low end.
As for the cams..........I done the valve adjustment so I know how to get in there and what I am looking at.

The cams are a lot different than the valve adjustment. I would suggest you get familiar with the timing chain prior to doing the cams.
UL, do you know if the cams can be swapped with the cam gears still installed? In other words, can they be tied off somehow to retain timing and NOT require retiming the chain when swapping cams? I haven't actually done it on the F20C yet.

Okay the low down on the Todas:
The Cams have gears that counter-rotate on the main cam gear attached via the chain. When you change cams, you only need to unbolt the cam towers and simply lift the cams straight up. You dont have to break tension on the chain or anything. If you didnt need to change the exhaust side springs this motor would be the easiest cam swap to do on any engine I've done by far. It's so "STUPID" proof that it's easy to get TDC also. The main cam gear has an index that points to 12 o'clock. The intake and exhaust gears both have index marks, one that will point to 9 o'clock and the exhaust at 3 o'clock. They will be pointing at each other making a parallel line. TOO EASY.
Changing valve springs on the exhaust side isnt so easy, but I admit it would be damn hard if you had to do the intake vavles...
As for power gains... I honestly notice and feel more gains from the midrange under the curve than I do on the top. My Vtec transition is quite smooth now and it pulls strong all the way from 5500 now. I am very happy. I didnt notice the difference until I drove my friends '02, and it's a BIG difference. Of course, his car is bone stock, so our cars drive like two different animals. It's really interesting.
Hope this helps you guys!

Hams - not sure if I ever followed your cam saga till the end - I bote you got rid of the EMS - I assume too hard to tune?
Is there a thread with your dyno now compared to stock? would be interested to see what the cams did
