Ok...lets reverse my question.
Is the stock S2000 ECU control the Vtec system?
Thanks again

An F20C will run fine with the stock ECU in any car you like. But if you intend to turbocharge you need an aftermarket ECU.
Just about any ECU can be adapted. It needs to control multicoil ignition and work with the F20Cs crank angle and other sensors. For VTEC it simple requires one switched line and the ability to switch it according to revs and other conditions (eng temp, throttle position etc).
But at the end of the day your best bet is the AEM EMS as all the adaptation has already been done. Plug it in, tune it and you're done.

The Tec3 system is fully capable of running all the functionality of the Honda engine. However, while Electromotive produces a good product, the installation and setup is substantially more difficult than running a product like the AEM EMS, particularly if you retain much of the stock wiring harness from F20C.

Yes! that's the only thing I am concern of. How can I use the Tec 3 to understand
the Vtec system. What about the AEM Ems, I pressumed when you buy this system, Aem will understand the Vtec operation.... I will follow all your advice.
I am pretty sure this will also a "kick ass engine" (S2000)just like my other Lotus 7 with the Hayabusa turbocharged engine. Both is an extreme setup performance.
Both rev high. My car only weigh 950lbs, I don't need torque.

yeah im thinking about doing somewhat of the same swap. i was thinking of using the oem ecu and adding a greddy emanage for control. but i have to clear some things up before i go with that, if some one could help me out. one is the key reciver unit is that only per ecu like the k20a or could it be used on any ecu. next is has anybody try bypassing the immobilizer on the ecu it looks like it just turns on the power to all sensor and pump. can we just add a relay to do that?
The receiver isnt keyed to the keys so you can change the lock barrell receivers around.
If you dont need to use the original computer for road registration/emission reasons the easiest thing would be to use an aftermarket computer. Saves having to get a truckload of wiring out or the donor car and the time getting it all to work. I've done it myself and its not a trivial task.
I tried bypassing the immobiliser as you described but the ECU wont fire the injectors/ign without a valid key.
With an aftermarket computer you may have to grind a few teeth of the chopper plate on the camshaft sensor. Apart from that you will only need the engine bay loom with the engine and reterminate it for your choice of computer.
Speedracer.
PS. The AEM is still a good option. I just purchased one for my car as I need to reduce the rev limit to 8000rpm for the race series I'll use my car in. I had to run the original computer for emission/road rego requirements. The plug and play of the AEM makes it the easies option for me. If I didnt have the emission requirements I would have thrown in a Motec.
