Question on Koni shocks

I'd guess that a half inch perch difference would result in somewhere around a 3/4 difference at the wheel.

The Koni's have a softer low speed compression than the stock shocks. This will result in more compression per a hit and when you couple this with a lowering, it's likely you'll smash the front of your car on driveways and stuff.

Back from the dead, but this guy was so right. Due to the softer low speed compression, I've been smashing the lower front half of my car into dips and what not.
I'm thinking of getting these and simply using the stock (03 AP1) springs. Would this still result in a lot of scapeage due to the higher amount of compression? I wouldn't think so since I'm still at stock ride right (less any minor change the shock swap would make). Would the Lee Grimes Spec autox valving help with this at all?
