figured i'd update the thread. i ended up buying the BL5000. took four days to arrive. the jacks came on one day, and the pump the next. it was a little bit of hassle getting it set up, one piece was kind of misaligned so we had to file down a brace to make a fitting screw on - literally millimeters so nothing to really complain about. once all set up it worked with no issues.

Just curious, will the jacks work if they are turned the opposite way? If the hoses go to the back of the car?

yeah they can go either way. you'll just have to put the pump at the back of the car instead. i had to have them this way to fit the jack points. on my subaru though they fit the opposite way

Watch the opened hood on the car on this or my similar lift. I almost snagged the garage door with the hood in the 90° position a year ago when I was backed into the garage. This last winter I stored the car on the lift with the nose in like the photo just above.

My attorneys will be contacting you regarding patent infringement on the wheel lift pads.

The jack points was what I was referring to. With the S2k specifically, can you turn the jacks 180* so the hoses go to the back?
