I have the 5000. I have not done a clutch job but there is plenty of room. I can roll under on a creeper. You could also drop it down on some jack stands and move the QJ out of the way for more room.

Has anyone tried the BL-5000EXT on the S? The SLX won't fit my other car but the EXT will so hoping I can get it to work with the S too.

Any other users? I'm looking to purchase the 7000slx. The video below from youtube shows it being used on another S. Does anyone have personal experience with the 7000? Thanks!

I need to put my S2000 on a 1" board (these are not a real inch, more like 3/4" to 7/8") to get anything under my OEM height car. My EZ Car Lift then rolls right under. Note the video just above here shows the car up on RV leveling blocks as I did in the photo below.

Me on mine at my Cleveland house.

My 3500 is still working just fine. I line up the front jack points and the rears are just on the pinch weld which is plenty strong. I have used it on a number of other S2000's as well with zero issues. Well unless the car is super hella slammed and they don't fit under. Easily the best tool purchase I think I have made considering how easy it makes working on the car. This weekend I adjusted my suspension and it is so much better than doing it on jackstands.

I saw your video on youtube! I'm looking to purchase one that will carry a little more weight as I work on other cars heavier than the s2000.

Also, for anyone looking to purchase one here soon, use promo code : MONEY

I think the 5000 would cover pretty much any car except crazy luxo barges. I know Feezy uses a 5000 on his S2000's and I think his cousin uses it on his corvette if I remember correctly.

Just for comparison my EZ Car Lift will handle 4400 pounds. I was nervous about the hydraulic Quick Jack so I went full mechanical with both sides connected together. Much slooooooooooooooooower to raise lower but still no more than about 90 seconds to get 26" clearance. I can darn near sit upright under there and the car can stay raised for months (like all winter out of any slush and salt) without fear of hydraulic bleed down. Won't lift my Expedition but all three Subarus are under 4000 pounds.

Pretty cool to find out there are some fellow EZ Car lift owners. I've had mine for about 5 years. The quick jacks were not an option back then. I love mine for the added safety features.

I got a Quick Jack 5000 as a gift last year and recently put it into use. For my car, I have to get he front wheels up an inch or so to get the rails in with the short rubber blocks. Seems to work well and has made it easier to get the car fully up in my garage. It should also make things much easier on my STi as well... Both cars were a chore to get on 4 jack stands.

I also just got the adapters so I can use the lift on my Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD, which is right under 5,000 lbs... I will make sure I'm low on fuel whenever I need to use it on the Jeep:
