I don't think so, see:

Why are you needing the hoses to go to the back?

you could definitely move the little elbow fitting to face that direction, there wouldn't be any problem that i see at all. the hoses are long enough you might even be able to set the pump off the one side of the car too

I use my Quickjack with the hoses to the back with no problem. Pump on one side.

We just used it this weekend to replace diff mounts on an S2000. Not sure why you would need the 5000 unless you have another car that would require that weight.
I see on this video they don't align with the jacking points. But you guys haven't had any problems with it?
I'm considering the 3500 as well.

I have one of these jacks as well, and I think it's a very good product. A couple of things that I learned along the way that may be helpful for others putting this thing together.

(1) you CAN overtighten hydraulic fittings with hand tools. Don't be so afraid of leaks that you over tighten the fittings - I ruined one of the short hoses where it connects to the elbow fitting. I am not a big guy.
(2) the jacks are heavy - you won't be like the guy pictured on the box with one in each hand. Some of you maybe, but not me.
(3) the cam on the safety bar doesn't always work flawlessly on mine - pay attention and engage it by hand if you need to.

I've had an acura mdx and honda odyssey up in the air on this - have not lifted the S2000 yet but will soon. If it works on the kid haulers, it will work on the S.

To all the people that mentioned they purchased the Quick Jack...do you have the 3500 or the 5000?
This looks like it might be a good option for me right now as need to do some transmission work and was not looking forward to it with my jack and jack stands. I want to make sure I buy the model that will fit the car though.

I got the 5000 as I have a Challenger and an old Road Runner. One of the nice things is there is enough vertical room to use a creeper to get under the car. You don't have to crawl.

I got, and recommend, the 5000. Just set it up this week. Works great. Fits the s2000, matches the jackpoints, perfectly.

Thanks for the update!

The video with the 3500 appeared to not be lifting from the jack points on the s2000 and that is less than ideal. According to the reviews, It looks like they also now worked most of the early bugs out previously reported which is good.
