Looks similar to the Kwik Bay 7000lb lift I just got @noodels . I have tall ceilings, but I didn't have enough width to put in a 2 post without severely limiting my work space. I opted for this one because it will lift my 100 series land cruiser (6280lbs), and it is moveable so I can roll it where I need it. I can park over it, doubles as a work surface if needed, and for 97% of what I do it works perfect.

I was going to get the Twin Busch 6600lb one as it seems really nice also, but when I weighed Bruiser the Land Cruiser I wasn't comfortable with how close it was to the limit.

Yes, mine twice (really pressure plate but the same project) and pressure plates for four others. I use a low-rise transmission jack and the job goes smoothly.

I'm considering whether to go in this direction. Right now I use four 1" blocks of wood, four high quality jack stands. and a low profile hydraulic jack. I jack from the front and rear central jack points to set the stands. Can you guys estimate, start to finish including set up time, do these compressed air options actually save time? Also, do you find that restricting access to the undercarriage to front and rear, as opposed to having access from the sides as well, is troublesome at all?

I timed my QuickJack soon after I bought it four years ago. I use two 2x4 ramps front and rear to raise the S2000 so that I may use thicker rubber blocks to raise it a few inches extra. So, to drive into the garage, place the ramps, drive onto the ramps, pull the QuckJack under each side, place the large rubber blocks and then raise the car to full height took me 11 minutes.

QuickJack is hydraulic, not pneumatic or compressed air.

Over the four years that I've used it, it has not bothered me at all. I use the area on the sides outside of the stand to stage my tools.

Did you ever do the clutch job on the QJ?
