Rain and Vented Hoods

you have nothing to worry about, our cars don't have a distributer (those stop working properly when wet) and the coilpacks(mentioned earlier) are potted in epoxy, so no worries there.The intake system is pretty well shielded from water, even the AEM CAI won't have any troubles with a vented hood, and all the connectors have a weather-proof seal.

Every time I wash my car, i spray EVERYTHING directly, and never have the slightest issue.

i wash my engine a couple times a month, i spray directly at the engine with a pressure washer, i dont cover anything, and i spray everything, been doing it on my last four cars, ive never damaged anything. the only catch is you have to do it with the engine running and not spray into the intake filter. if you do it with the engine off, when you spray the alternator the car wont start for a couple of minutes until is dry.

^ I just avoid spraying the alternator directly but do basically the same thing no worries here
