Hey guys, just got my car a couple weeks ago and a few days ago I noticed this. If I come to a complete stop (like a traffic light), and the car is taken out of gear, foot of the clutch, then push the clutch in and then push it in 1st, you can feel the car move forward like an inch, and the rear makes a pop type noise. You can also get it to do this in other forward gears as well. Now if I push the clutch in wait like 5 seconds, there is no noise. Now, by the book, I would think when I push the clutch in, the input shaft starts to spin down and I am just engaging it prior to it completely stopping and it moves the car. Is this correct? Just checking. Would rather it not be a much larger issue that creeps up on me.

 

I experience this w my car all the time except mine doesn't feel like its moving forward, it just makes a clunk noise. I think its normal from what ive searched.
