Redline Diff Fluid
Hey Fellas
I tried the search function but it wasn't working
Has anyone tried redline diff fluid? My mechanic, who is a very well regarded S2000 tuner here in SoCal, let me know that he went with Redline diff fluid instead of the OEM Honda fluid.
I seem to be getting a bit of low rpm whine under acceleration in gears 1 and 2. But no whine in other gears or when already up to cruising speed.
Is this normal?
Anybody else runnin the redline diff fluid?
Any feedback is appreciated.

If you put Redline Shockproof into your diff, you might want to know this:

I was using Redline Diff fluid for a while on my stock diff some time ago and I had no issues until my rear blew. The rear didn't blow because of it however.
If you have a mechanical whine, by trying diff fluid will not quiet it. Maybe a slight bit but not really.

another RL 75w90 user here... (and hence another data point?)
was on whatever-the-stock-fluid until last month. changed out to 75w90 (stock fluid was still near crystal clear), no increase in whine/noise... now that Tanabe catback OTOH....
